This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with plants, and taking ownership of quality. You'll work alongside our propagation team to ensure plant material is produced efficiently, accurately, and to the high standards our customers expect. Every day looks a little different. One day you may be overseeing propagation crews and tracking production, the next you could be setting up trials, calibrating equipment, or troubleshooting environmental conditions in the greenhouse. If you like a mix of science, leadership, and hands-on work, you'll fit right in. What you'll do Lead daily propagation activities while working alongside Crew Leaders and Technicians Monitor plant quality, environmental conditions, and production goals to ensure healthy, consistent crops Track inventory, production data, and labeling with accuracy Operate and calibrate propagation equipment and maintain nursery tools Train team members on new techniques and best practices to improve quality and efficiency Set up and monitor propagation trials and evaluate results Support seasonal propagation work including tissue culture plantlets, grafting, cuttings, seed planting, and liner production Keep propagation areas, grow rooms, and acclimation tunnels clean, organized, and operating efficiently Identify horticultural issues early and work with the team to resolve them What you bring Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong understanding of plant propagation, greenhouse production, or nursery operations Experience leading or coordinating teams in a production environment Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality plants Comfortable collecting data, maintaining accurate records, and using spreadsheets or production databases Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical aspects of nursery work If you're excited by the idea of combining horticulture, leadership, and continuous improvement—and want to play a key role in producing some of the highest-quality nursery stock in the industry—we'd love to hear from you.
