Job Description

Please call (208) 255-9885 to apply! Timber Mountain Forestry is looking to hire a forester to begin work immediately. Some experience in natural resources field required. Must know all evergreen tree species of north Idaho. Must be willing to work in all outdoor conditions and physically fit to hike in the mountains. A 2010 or newer 4 wheel drive vehicle required (paid mileage). Travel required to job sites in the North Idaho area. Resume required along with previous work/supervisor references.

Position is seasonal depending on snow levels but typically starts in March/April and runs to December. Job consists of supervising planting and thinning crews to ensure they follow contract specs, harvest unit layout, burn piles, ect.

Have previous work experience in outdoor related field Must know evergreen species of north Idaho 2010 or newer, dependable 4 wheel drive vehicle Physically fit to hike mountains Clean background
