Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laborer, where your contributions will play a vital role in the success of our operations! In this energetic position, you will engage in various tasks that include but not limited to, meter reading, repairing leaks, daily chlorine samples, work orders, preventative maintenance, and more . Your hands-on approach and dedication will help us achieve our goals while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. What you'll do Meter reading Operate hand tools and power equipment to complete tasks effectively. Searching for leaks Follow instructions from supervisors to carry out tasks accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety. Workorders (turning meters on, off, etc.) Line locates Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and your teammates. Basic qualifications Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Able to be on your feet for long periods of time. Ability to correctly read meters for billing. High School Diploma or GED Be able to be on rotating call for one week at a time. Be able to work some weekends and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in construction or general labor roles is a plus. Familiarity with safety procedures in a labor-intensive environment. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment operation.
