JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform various field services supporting inspection and maintenance of electric distribution utility poles. Performs hand excavation around the base of wood utility poles Assists with the inspection and treatment of the pole. Operate necessary hand tools including but not limited to: shovel, drill, and hammer to assess pole structural integrity and longevity. Achieve weekly production goals as defined by the project guidelines. Wears appropriate PPE and presents a professional appearance and attitude Demonstrates high work standards and attention to detail Ability to communicate with the public, customers, other team members, and leadership. Assists in Storm Response when activated by the utility company

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Full time travel throughout the State of MI is required for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

High School Diploma Working Knowledge of computers and software applications (MS Office Products) Must have a valid driver's license + clean driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to complete a satisfactory background check. Be able to pass an internal training program (written and field evaluation) Ability to work long hours in all types of weather and terrain Ability to work independently or in a team KLE offers a competitive compensation and benefits packages, including a 401k plan with a company match.
