MTB/Hiking Trail Steward

Job Summary Trail Steward / Trail Maintenance Help We are also looking for a part-time Trail Steward to help during the week. This role is hands-on and important. Duties include helping maintain the trails, improving ride quality, and keeping the park looking sharp and riding well.

Trail Steward Responsibilities:

Weed eating, leaf blowing, and basic trail upkeep Trail repair and maintenance Moving dirt, rock, and materials where needed Helping with drainage, tread repair, and general trail improvements Using hand tools and lawn equipment safely and effectively Requirements for

Trail Steward:

Ability to do physical outdoor work in steep terrain Comfortable using hand tools and lawn equipment Able to lift, move, and work with dirt, rock, and materials Willing to work hard in changing weather conditions Background check and drug screen required Coordination of volunteer work days Ability to direct volunteers Position is through the City of Ironton , as Shepherd Mountain Bike Park is city-owned and operated. This is a part-time role with room to grow as the park continues to expand. This work can be tough at times, but it is also rewarding. You'll be part of a small team working to build something special for riders, families, and visitors in Arcadia Valley.
