Urban Forestry Assistant (Public Service Assistant II)

Description The Community Services Department is recruiting for Urban Forestry Assistants (Public Service Assistant II). These positions are full-time temporary, starting as early as April 20, 2026, and ending January 18, 2027. These positions work on-site, five days a week, completing a combination of administrative tasks and in-the-field service projects. Examples of Duties Learn a variety of topics related to urban forestry, public greenspace, and sustainability. Work collaboratively to complete urban forestry service projects in local Fremont neighborhoods. Assist with the protection and growth of Fremont's urban tree canopy.
