Job Description
We are recruiting new work partners for our regenerative organic farming cooperative. Fertile land, equipment, funding, food, housing, and training provided, at no cost to qualified candidates. What you produce is what you earn. This is NOT gardening or homesteading or permaculture or any other hobby/lifestyle. We grow food for market. This is NOT an administrative or management opportunity. When intelligent, motivated people sweat together, they don't need idle people telling them what to do. We previously operated as Malamaki Farm School. We squandered millions of dollars teaching eager young folks who were infatuated with the IDEA of organic farming, but soon quit because they discovered that they had no love for the WORK. Proof that you are suitable for this opportunity lies only in your ability to document your sustained enjoyment of the profession. Your resume MUST document verifiable professional organic farming experience. Please be sure to include a cover letter with your application that communicates your understanding of what we are offering and why you believe you are a good fit. If you cannot figure out how to do that, the challenges of tropical organic farming are certainly beyond your capabilities.
