Consulting Utility Forester - Coeur d'Alene / Spokane Region Associated Arborists | Full-Time | $45.00-$55.00/hr + Commission About Associated Arborists Associated Arborists is a family-owned and operated vegetation management company serving utility, residential, commercial, and municipal clients across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. We're growing our consulting forester team to meet demand in the Coeur d'Alene and Spokane corridor. About the Role This is a field-based, independent position. You'll spend most of your time outdoors meeting property owners, assessing trees, and building scopes of work. This role is a great fit if you thrive working independently, enjoy talking to people, and have a strong background in tree identification and risk assessment. Responsibilities Conduct tree risk assessments and site evaluations for utility and wildfire mitigation programs Meet with property owners and represent Associated Arborists in a professional manner Develop scopes of work and job orders through our online field management portal Identify tree species, assess health and structural conditions, and evaluate conflicts with utility infrastructure Coordinate with tree contractors on planned work — you scope it, they execute Navigate and document work across varying terrain including rural and rugged areas Maintain accurate field data and records Credentials Experience in arboriculture, utility forestry, vegetation management, or a related field Strong tree species identification skills — Pacific Northwest species knowledge preferred ISA Certified Arborist credential, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

ISA TRAQ

(Tree Risk Assessment Qualification) preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation Proficiency with digital tools, GPS/map navigation, and field data entry Ability to work in varying weather and terrain conditions

Schedule & Compensation Pay:

$45.00-$55.00/hour based on experience, plus commission
