Work Location Onsite position at 1451 66th Street, Emeryville, CA 94608 (3-5 days a week) Responsibilities You will be working on one of the largest food brands in the category. Great learning with experienced developers and best performing team. You will experience wide ranges of projects including:

Innovation:

near term innovation and renovationCore maintenance: Resolve quality issues, BCP, Margin and support plant performance improvement, and other duties as assignedMaking benchtop samples to support development work; shipping and receiving samples and ingredients

Shift:

9:00 AM - 5:00

PM Requirements:

BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field1-3 years of experience in related fieldStrong technical foundation and technical curiosityParticipate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.

Write process specifications that deliver consistent, high-quality products across numerous manufacturing facilities.

Excellent written and oral communicationFood science, science, or engineering ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods marketWorking on teams and independently with the guidance of a managerPersonal drive and organizationPrioritizing and managing activitiesPlanning, and executing work plans with some supervisionIdentifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions independently (problem solving)Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusionsCommunicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writingPutting the consumer at the heart of development activities Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
