Full Job Description Summary of Primary Functions :
Dobbs Equipment is seeking an experienced Undercarriage Specialist. This position is responsible for driving customer uptime, revenue growth and profitability through proactively measuring, quoting, and selling undercarriage work within the designated AOR (Area of Responsibility).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned) Complete Machine Inspection on all machines within designated AOR to include, company owned, leased, or rental, IRC (Independent Rental Company), and customer owned machines. Evaluate, measure, and monitor undercarriage condition. Partner with the local Service Manager and Customer Support Advisor to generate pricing for quote presentation to customers. Maintain records of calls, quotes, inspections, make reports as required, work according to plan, follow up on all leads, and control expenses. Identify and report on significant activities of competitors, product performance problems, new opportunities, and lost sales.

Experience Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively with teammates Basic understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and operation Strong problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills Must be able to self-manage/self-motivate Approximately 80% travel will be required within AOR Overnight travel less than 5% Flexible schedule (sometimes weekends) Quick learner with the ability to think out of the box
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
