The position is day shift. We offer a clean and safe, state of the art workplace. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic mechanical skills Use of hand tools Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders Use weights and measures to mix and pour proper mixture of liquid polymer into molds Accurately time the curing of the polymer set up Demold finished product with attention to detail to avoid cracking of molded product Clean and maintain molds Must pay close attention to create accurate finished product Sand and polish finished product Repair damaged parts and finish them back to a new finish Work as member of a team Communicate with other employees and departments about work related processes Keep work areas clean and safe Use company ERP system Additional related duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
Must have basic mechanical skills Understand weights and measurements Ability to understand and use inventory control system Must be able to read and interpret information in work orders Good attention to detail Must observe safety and environmental rules and regulations at all times Ability to learn tasks quickly Ability to produce quality parts
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Prior solid surface/polymer molding experience, a plus Prior manufacturing experience, a plus Experience with weights and measures Basic computer experience with windows based products Inventory control experience, a plus Ability to use company ERP system
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. continuously Ability to work in non-air conditioned manufacturing environment Must wear a respirator during pour and demolding process Constant standing Frequent bending and stooping Clean work environment Exposure to noise, dust, and airborne particles Tools provided Safety training and other required PPE provided Must submit to pre-employment drug screening, respirator fit test and criminal background check
