Essential Functions Usage of scanner (how to enter data). Scanning vehicles for receiving and releasing. Updating unit locations and survey/physical inventory. Laying paperwork, finding lost/missing units Assist other field personnel and aiding supervisors as needed Competencies Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal. Must be detail oriented. Ability to solve problems. Ability to work as a team. Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities. Punctual and dependable person. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Work Environment Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.) Physical Demands Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime. Travel This position does not have any travel requirements. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience. Computer Operations Basic personal computer skills. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card).
