Job Description

Position:
Maintenance St. Mary/St. Charles of Cheboygan, St. Clement of Pellston, Sacred Heart of Riggsville, St.
Mary of Burt Lake Employment Type:

Cheboygan, Pellston, Riggsville, MI General Summary:
This position provides maintenance support for the churches, cemeteries and school within the CPR cluster of parishes. This position reports to the Maintenance Director, Don Socolovitch.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs routine maintenance of buildings and surrounding structures. Regular upkeep of the appearance of parish buildings, to include landscaping, trash removal, and janitorial services. Able to maintain logs for mileage reimbursement. Basic understanding of OSHA and MiOSHA safety procedures. Other duties as assigned by the maintenance director, pastor, and business manager.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license with current auto insurance and a reliable vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work well with multiple outside agencies, people and organizations connected with job responsibilities. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions at times; cold, heat, inclement weather. Must be able to work independently without direct supervision at times. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and pick up items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee is expected to work flexible days/hours including occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Average weekly hours will be approximately 20 hours.
