Full Job Description General Purpose:
The Tower Sealer Palletizer works in the Cheese department rotating between three workstations: bagging finished cheese blocks, sealing of the cheese package and palletizing finished product.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements. Operate a forklift, moving cheese from production area to the warehouse cooler Run Beta Vac / bag sealer with no leakers Weigh blocks, place label tickets on blocks and boxes Operate and validate metal detector Operate boxer and palletizer (Robot) Tower operation Maintain operating records (Block Counts) Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance Master sanitation as needed
Requirements:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience Basic computer skills Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage Perform work independently as required Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance Knowledge with machines, tools, equipment and Lock out Tag out
Compensation:
$22.00/hour
