Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Packaging and Harvest Team. As a Packaging and Harvest Team Member, you will play a vital role in the post-cultivation process, ensuring the highest quality medical cannabis products for our patients. This position requires individuals who are over 21 years old, have a clean criminal record, possess reliable transportation, and can maintain a professional demeanor in a dynamic work environment. Applicants with previous experience handling medicinal cannabis will be prioritized. Applicants must be eligible to obtain a medical cannabis work permit in the state of Mississippi.

Requirements:

You must either be eligible for a Mississippi Medical Marijuana Work Permit or have a Mississippi Medical Marijuana work permit to be considered for this position.

Age:

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Criminal Record:

Must have a clean criminal record.

Drug Testing:

Subject to random drug testing to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Cannabis will not be included in the testing panel.

Transportation:

Reliable transportation is essential for punctual attendance.

Professional Demeanor:

Maintain a professional and respectful attitude in the workplace, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

Medical Cannabis Work Permit:

Applicants who have started the process of obtaining their cannabis agent work permit in the state of Mississippi will be given priority. If eligible but not started, assistance will be provided in obtaining the permit.

Work History:

A consistent work history with at least one year of employment at a previous job.

References:

Three professional references must be available upon request.

Responsibilities:

Packaging and Labeling:

Accurately and efficiently package medicinal cannabis products according to established guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Cultivation Support:

Assist in various aspects of cannabis cultivation.

Quality Control:

Perform visual inspections to identify defects or discrepancies in packaging, labeling, or product quality. Report any issues to the supervisor promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of packaging and cultivation activities, including quantities, batch numbers, and other relevant information. Complete required documentation in a timely and organized manner.

Compliance:

Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing the cultivation, packaging, and distribution of medical cannabis products in Mississippi. Stay informed about any changes in regulations and ensure compliance at all times.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily production goals and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
