Sanctum 1791 is a high-end, member-based shooting country club on the North Carolina Coast. We are seeking reliable and responsible Clay Trappers to become integral members of our team. As a Clay Trapper, you will ensure our esteemed members have a safe and enjoyable experience on our renowned Sporting Clays Course and Five Stand. Key Responsibilities:

Safety Training :

Conduct a safety briefing to your squad before each outing to ensure a safe shooting environment. Educate members on proper shotgun handling and course rules.

Guest Engagement :

Provide exceptional service by engaging with members through conversation, simple instruction and overall creating an enjoyable shooting environment.

Equipment Maintenance :

Monitor and refill clay throwers, perform routine checks, and ensure optimal functionality for consistent operation.

Course Upkeep :

Collect and clean spent shells, assist with general maintenance, and keep the shooting areas organized and safe.

Safety Enforcement :

Address and reeducate members on safety protocols when necessary. Report breaches of protocol to management.

Qualifications:

Experience :

Basic gun handling and safety skills are essential. Previous experience in skeet shooting, sporting clays, or similar outdoor sports is preferred but not required.

Skills :

Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to engage and educate guests effectively.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Certifications :
