$25.00 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Intern / Summer Associate to support a focused initiative filing lead-based paint (LBP) exemptions for a large NYC multifamily portfolio. Many buildings are already verified as lead-free or have completed remediation, and this role will help formally close out exemptions and reduce ongoing compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit lead-based paint exemption applications to
HPD/DOHMH.
Review XRF reports, clearance documentation, and remediation records. Track submission status, approvals, and agency feedback. Ensure filings comply with NYC Local Law Local Law 31, and Local Law 55. Maintain organized records and provide weekly progress updates.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and document management skills Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Excel and PDF form preparation
