Job Requirements Starting Pay Rate:
$16.00 hourly All Shifts available Spend your day by the water helping customers get out on the lake! This role includes inspecting and fueling rental boats, stocking and selling live bait and marina merchandise, and helping keep our marina grounds, property, and lodging areas clean and welcoming for guests. What does a Marina Associate do? Prepare rental boats for customers, ensuring boats are properly equipped. Provide the customer with proper and safe operating instructions. Inspect returned boats for damage. Refuel various-sized boats as necessary. Act as a cashier, operating a cash register and credit card machine. Stock a wide variety of merchandise. Handle, count, and package a variety of live bait. Clean and prepare rental lodging units. Maintain the lawns and grounds by operating a riding mower, weed eater, and push mower. Maintain the general cleanliness of the marina property. Write work order requests for repair work. Answers the telephone and responds to customer inquiries.

Work Experience To be successful as a Marina Associate, you'll need: A High School Diploma or Equivalency preferred. A valid Driver's License is required for full-time staff only. staff only. Excellent math and communication skills required. Knowledge of boats, motors, and docks is desired. Knowledge of the fishing and tackle industry is desired. Ability to operate a small truck and small tractor required. To be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including extreme heat and extreme cold; subject to noise and hazards such as proximity to mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to gases, chemicals, fumes, odors, poor ventilation, and oils. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 61 - 70 pounds.
