Job Description
General Function:
The Contractor must assist the USG in preparing test reports after each test is completed. Interim test reports are required within 10 days following the conclusion of testing. Interim reports must include key test information, though not limited to specified elements. Final test reports must be delivered within 30 days after test completion. Final reports must include a comprehensive analysis of all collected test data. Both interim and final reports are governed byCDRL A010
requirements. The Contractor must support all phases of the uniform and equipment lifecycle. Lifecycle support spans from initial concept development through final phase-out. Responsibilities include development and sustainment of dress, utility, and functional clothing. Tasks include concept development, prototyping, and pattern development and grading. The Contractor must assist in selecting materials and components for uniform items. Support includes conducting field testing, analyzing data, and producing reports. The Contractor must help develop inspection plans and define acceptance criteria. Inspection criteria apply to prototypes, samples, test articles, and production items. The Contractor must conduct product inspections using established plans (CDRL A009). Field test support includes planning and executing operational assessments of uniform items. Activities include fit assessments, wear tests, utility evaluations, and qualification testing. The Contractor must develop complete pattern sets and design drawings for TDP integration. Technical specifications must be created to convey engineering and production requirements. The Contractor must document inspection results, maintain fit feedback records, and use industry-standard tools (software, photos, sketches) to communicate with stakeholders.Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
BA/BS or Master of Arts/ Master of Science (MA/MS) degree and over 3 - 10 years of relevant experience. experience or 15 years of directly related experience to this discipline. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project). Must be able to perform all functional duties independently. Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
