Overview Callawassie Island prides itself on creating a premiere golf and lifestyle experience for its members and guests. We are a 27-hole facility with pool, 6 tennis courts, a 20,000 square foot clubhouse, and a separate River Club complete with family pool and twin boat docking facilities. Our team's commitment to service and attention to detail generates an ideal environment for the membership to enjoy their day at the club. This Part-Time Position is employed year-round with 2 weeks of planned closures for Golf Course Maintenance. Hours will fluctuate based on seasons, 20-30 hours per week. Experience Required Experience in a private club setting is preferred Positive attitude and professional appearance Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Very strong work ethic Willingness to be a part of an incredible team of loyal, hard-working, team players Essential Responsibilities Must be outgoing, motivated, professional, responsible, accountable and have a positive attitude. Greet all members and guests in a welcoming and friendly manner. Assist members with their pre and post play needs, including cleaning golf clubs, removing bags from vehicles before play, load bags onto golf carts, and returning bags to vehicles after the round. Daily staging and managing of the golf cart fleet. This includes washing, detailing and supplying each golf cart with the necessary amenities every night. Assist the outside services team with range duties. This includes setting the range with all amenities/furniture in their appropriate places, transporting range balls and placing them in their containers, operating the tractor to pick the balls on the range and washing them, resetting the putting greens, short game area and driving range as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times including the staging area, cart barn, bag storage and practice facility. Assist Golf Operations team with special projects and events such as tournament and clinic setup, and any other duties that may be assigned.
