Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position is designed for dedicated professionals skilled in school-based services, holding SLP licensure with CCC. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact on a young student's development by collaborating closely within a school setting near Rockwall, TX.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy for PreK-aged children Proven ability to deliver individualized interventions in accordance with IEPs Familiarity with early intervention strategies and collaborative educational teaming Exceptional communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Work directly with one PreK, 4-year-old student, addressing their OT needs as outlined in the IEP Provide focused, individualized therapy services during the designated 4-hour session Utilize evidence-based practices in early intervention to promote the student's communication and functional skills Maintain thorough records of student progress and regularly communicate updates to the educational team and families Collaborate with staff and related service providers to ensure seamless integration of therapy into the student's school day You'll experience the satisfaction of contributing to a child's critical early years alongside supportive professionals.
