Job Description:
Paint•Powder Electro-Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Paint-Powder to join our team at our facility in Bristol, Virginia. In this role, you will support the continuous manufacturing process by applying coatings to components using manual and air tools, following detailed instructions and safety protocols. You'll maintain paint equipment, inspect finished goods for quality, and contribute to process improvement initiatives while working collaboratively with your team in a fast-paced production environment. How You will Make anImpact:
Comprehend and follow shop procedures, standard practice instructions, prints, diagrams, and other written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements such as color and paint thickness. Manipulate apparatus and components to required workstations, equipment, stations, and positions. Able to use hand tools and air tools. Comprehend and observe all safety and quality standards and participate in Kaizen and Area Focus Teams. Maintain powder paint application equipment and develop professional knowledge of use through practice. Inspect finished goods to ascertain adherence to ISO quality standards. Using manual tools, occasional solvents, and cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and orderly work area. To maintain regular and timely attendance, to work efficiently, and to work overtime when required, all sufficiently to support the continuous manufacturing process Work in close concert with, and get along with, co-workers.What You Bring:
High school or GED equivalent with a relevant Tech school or appropriate combination of education, training, skills, and experience. Painting experience is not a requirement. The Human Resource Administrator can determine whether education and training are equivalent based on the associate's experience.
