Job Description

The Federal Club is seeking a mechanically inclined Assistant Equipment Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity, as the position will be tailored to the individual we hire and will continue to evolve based on their experience, skills, and career goals. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude and preferably some experience with small engine repair who is interested in learning more about golf course equipment maintenance. We believe that understanding how equipment operates in the field is just as important as knowing how to repair it. Therefore, the Assistant Equipment Technician will have opportunities to operate the equipment they maintain, helping develop a better understanding of machine performance and functionality. Our team includes experienced managers and a Head Equipment Technician who is willing to train and mentor the right candidate. We value work-life balance and professional development, and our goal is to help this individual continue to grow within the equipment management side of the golf industry. The Federal Club will also be hosting the season finale of the Korn Ferry Tour in October 2026. This event will provide an opportunity to be involved in the preparation and maintenance of equipment for a professional golf tournament and gain experience working in a tournament environment.
Position Details Starting pay:
$18-$21 per hour , based on experience Full-time position Small engine repair experience preferred Hands-on training provided Opportunities for advancement and career growth This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving mechanical problems, and wants to build a long-term career in golf course equipment management.
