Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Foreman, where you will lead and oversee a variety of outdoor projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage crews, coordinate landscaping and maintenance tasks, and bring beautiful, functional outdoor spaces to life. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a safe, productive, and positive work environment. If you're passionate about horticulture, skilled in reading plans, laying out plants, irrigation systems (install and repair) etc. and eager to guide a team through diverse construction projects, this position is perfect for you! Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscaping crews on construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation management, and tree care to maintain pristine outdoor environments Manage crew assignments, monitor work quality, and provide training or guidance as needed to enhance team performance Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and landscape design implementation Oversee irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency Enforce safety protocols across all job sites and conduct regular site inspections to prevent accidents or hazards Collaborate with clients or project managers to interpret landscaping plans and ensure project specifications are met Requirements Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related outdoor maintenance fields with a focus on landscape maintenance and gardening Supervising experience leading teams on construction or landscaping projects with strong crew management skills Knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and general garden maintenance Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and technical drawings for project execution Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and coordinate tasks effectively Construction experience related to outdoor projects including site preparation, planting, irrigation installation, and maintenance work Valid knowledge of safety standards applicable to outdoor construction sites; certifications in first aid or OSHA are a plus Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
