Position Overview We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Landscape Foreman to join our growing landscaping and horticulture team in Boulder. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is ready to lead projects from start to finish. As a small but growing company, we value team members who are dependable, proactive, and enjoy collaborating closely with both leadership and crew members. You'll work directly with the owner to plan, manage, and execute a variety of landscape projects, with a focus on irrigation, hardscaping, and overall site management. What You'll Do Lead and participate in landscape installation and improvement projects Manage day-to-day job site operations and coordinate crew activities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot irrigation systems Execute hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and related features Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and company leadership What We're Looking For Experience with irrigation systems and hardscape installation Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage projects and crews A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Physically capable of performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions Reliable, organized, and committed to delivering quality work Open to feedback and able to take direction when needed Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership Supervise and lead a landscape crew of 2-5 team members Assign daily tasks and ensure efficient workflow Train crew members in proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures Foster a positive, respectful team environment Project Management Execute landscape installation and maintenance projects according to plans and work orders Ensure work meets company quality standards and client expectations Track project progress and adjust tasks as needed to meet deadlines Jobsite Management Organize daily jobsite setup and cleanup Ensure necessary tools, equipment, and materials are on site Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs Client & Team Communication Communicate professionally with clients when on-site Coordinate with management regarding schedules, materials, and project updates progress, challenges, and solutions Safety Enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies Ensure crew operates tools and equipment safely Hands-On Landscape Work Planting, mulching, pruning, and bed preparation Irrigation installation and basic repair Hardscape installation (pavers, stone, retaining walls) Operation of landscaping equipment and small machinery Qualifications 2-5+ years' experience in landscaping or landscape construction Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred Ability to read basic landscape plans and work orders Strong communication and organizational skills •Experience operating landscape equipment (skid steer, compactors, power tools)- a plus but not a must Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Skills Irrigation troubleshooting and repair Plant identification and horticultural knowledge Hardscape installation experience Must be willing to drive to job sites • Owning a truck is a plus!
