Job Description
Landscape Supervisor Falls Village, CT 06031 From $23 an hour - Full-time From $23 an hour - Full-time About us Matt's Landscaping, LLC is a family-owned full-service lawn and landscape company based out of Falls Village, CT. Services performed by the company include lawn maintenance, landscape and hardscape installations, land clearing, excavation, and snowplowing. We strive to be superior in quality, professionalism, and client relations. The landscape team performs a wide variety of project work including landscape, patio, and driveway installations and renovations, land clearing, and excavation work. The landscape team will occasionally aid the lawn maintenance team when the need arises. Seeking hard working individuals to join our Landscape division.
Duties include:
- Support landscape team personnel to complete projects within budgeted timeframes and costs.
- Safe operation of small and large equipment.
- Must be able to lift over 25 pounds.
- Must behave professionally and politely with clients and co-workers.
- Ability to work independently and also with a team.
- Knowledge of standard landscape products and equipment.
- Drive 1-ton pickup/dump truck, with trailer.
- Keep an accurate daily record of work performed utilizing established procedures and technology in place.
- Manage Landscape Division personnel on and off the job through orientation, training and by setting expectations and routinely assessing performance.
- Manage assigned projects through to completion, achieving desired structural and aesthetic standards.
- Coordinate and enforce systems, procedures, policies, and productivity standards.
- Driver's license and clean driving record required. Pay based on experience and performance during trial period. Opportunity for advancement.
