This role leads field crews, ensures quality service delivery, manages schedules and budgets, and maintains strong client relationships. Success requires hands-on leadership, operational efficiency, and attention to detail. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Crew Management Supervise and lead multiple landscaping crews (maintenance and installation) Plan daily/weekly schedules, route crews, and allocate resources efficiently Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure productivity and safety Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to scope Project Management Oversee landscape installations (plantings, hardscaping, irrigation, seasonal work) Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Manage materials, equipment, and subcontractors Handle change orders and resolve on-site issues Client & Account Management Serve as primary point of contact for clients Conduct property walk-throughs and ensure satisfaction Provide recommendations for enhancements, upgrades, and seasonal services Support estimating and proposal development Financial & Administrative Oversight Track labor, materials, and job costs to ensure profitability Approve timesheets and monitor crew productivity Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Maintain accurate job records and reporting Safety & Compliance Enforce company safety policies and OSHA guidelines Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment Maintain compliance with local regulations and environmental standards Qualifications Required 3-7 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience 2+ years in a supervisory or management role Strong knowledge of plant materials, turf care, and seasonal services Experience managing crews and multiple job sites Preferred Experience with irrigation systems and hardscape installation Bilingual (English/Spanish) Familiarity with landscaping software (e.g., Aspire, LMN) Valid driver's license with clean record Key Skills Leadership and team development Strong organizational and scheduling ability Client relationship management Budgeting and cost control Problem-solving and decision-making in the field
