Bear, DE About the Role We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Landscaping Manager / Sales Representative to oversee landscaping projects, manage crews, build customer relationships, and drive new business. This role is ideal for someone who understands landscaping operations and also has the confidence to meet with customers, estimate jobs, and close sales. Key Responsibilities The Landscaping Manager / Sales Representative will be responsible for managing day-to-day landscape operations, including scheduling crews, supervising job sites, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong communication with customers. This person will also generate new sales opportunities, prepare estimates and proposals, follow up with leads, and help grow the company's landscaping and maintenance business.
Responsibilities include:
Meet with residential and commercial customers to assess landscaping needs Prepare estimates, proposals, and project scopes Sell landscaping, lawn care, maintenance, hardscape, and seasonal services Schedule and coordinate crews, equipment, and materials Supervise job sites to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards Communicate with customers before, during, and after projects Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly Monitor project profitability, labor hours, and material usage Train, motivate, and support landscaping crew members Identify upsell opportunities with existing customers Maintain accurate records of estimates, sales activity, and project details Qualifications Previous landscaping, lawn care, hardscape, or property maintenance experience required Prior sales, estimating, or customer service experience preferred Ability to manage crews and coordinate multiple jobs at once Strong communication and follow-up skills Comfortable meeting customers and presenting proposals Knowledge of plants, mulch, grading, drainage, mowing, maintenance, irrigation, or hardscape work is a plus Valid driver's license required Ability to work outdoors and visit active job sites Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to balance field operations with sales responsibilities. This person should be comfortable leading crews, solving problems, building customer trust, and helping the company grow through new and repeat business.
