Job Description

Job Summary The Landscape Maintenance Estimator will be responsible for working with the Department Manager to ensure the overall success of the maintenance department by providing quotes and estimates of our maintenance services for residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Maintenance Estimator will train, plan, organize, direct and coordinate team members to create work plans and ensure they are followed to meet and exceed customers' expectations playing a key role in driving business growth. Role and Responsibilities
  • Identify and prospect new clients through networking, referrals, in house and cold calls to meet monthly sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial clients
  • Perform on site consultations with residential and commercial clientele which will include fact-finding with clients to understand their vision, measuring sites, and assessing site for landscape maintenance requirements and guiding clients through the RSC sales process
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Utilize Aspire to prepare estimates used by the Department Manager for purposes of planning, organizing, and scheduling landscape maintenance job assignments
  • Active problem solving to develop solutions if site problems occur; following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and quality assurance
  • Attend weekly management meetings and contribute ideas on increasing efficiency, plant quality and customer satisfaction
  • Work with the Department Manager and crew leaders to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner. Handing off project details to crew leaders for execution.
  • Lead, train and assist crews to carrying out daily routines and tasks according to daily checklists, and other tasks, projects or duties as assigned
  • Assist in completing team member performance evaluations and participate in the recruitment and dismissal processes
  • Represent the company at industry events and community/company functions to enhance brand visibility
  • Assist in creating and fostering a respectful and inclusive team environment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping practices and maintenance services
  • Proven experience in sales
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft office, Aspire) Preferred Skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
  • Ability and willingness to operate various types of motorized equipment including but not limited to vehicles, mowers, and leaf blowers
  • Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Ability to delegate and mediate Additional Notes
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time
  • Must be available weekends/evenings for company/industry events as needed.
  • Maintain a dependable attendance record
  • Be confident, proactive, and willing to take on workplace challenges
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
