Foreman (Grassing) Estate Landscaping - 4.0 Fort Myers, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish CPR Certification Customer communication English CDL A First Aid Certification Full Job Description Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman to join our Grassing Department. As a Foreman, you will play a key leadership role in managing and supervising crew members to ensure high-quality landscaping and grassing services. Responsibilities Supervise and manage assigned grassing crew members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects Communicate regularly with the Grassing Operation Supervisor and other Foremen regarding job progress and requirements Lead weekly safety meetings and maintain accurate safety records for all crews Transport machinery and materials to and from job sites, ensuring proper setup and quality control Coordinate with contractors and clients on job-related issues and maintain positive relationships Scout job sites for special circumstances such as access issues, equipment needs, or erosion concerns Oversee equipment repair, maintenance, and compliance with company maintenance programs Plan, organize, and delegate daily work routines for crew members Complete and process required paperwork, timecards, and work authorizations accurately and on time Enforce all safety policies and procedures, including deployment of safety cones and vehicle inspections Provide training, motivation, and professional discipline to crew members as needed Calibrate application equipment and ensure proper use of assigned tools Encourage the advancement of crew members within the companys training program Qualifications Experience in supervising landscaping or grassing crews Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including internal teams and external clients Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to plan and schedule work Ability to identify and address issues related to irrigation systems, drainage, soil conditions, and plant health Knowledge of plant, weed, and pest identification (ability to identify 75 plants, 15 weeds, and 15 garden pests by common and botanical names) Ability to prune plants aesthetically and recognize landscape hazards Proficiency in programming irrigation controllers and troubleshooting irrigation problems Valid Class A CDL required Bilingual in English and Spanish is critical Certified in CPR and First Aid; FCHP certification required Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, and perform tasks involving lifting, pushing, bending, or stretching Must wear leather work boots and company uniform; use assigned tools and equipment Commitment to punctuality and adherence to company safety and operational policies
