Parks Supervisor I Department:

REQUIREMENTS
: Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in buildings and grounds maintenance. Buildings and grounds maintenance experience in a park setting is desired.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level I background criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (as defined in AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or artificial disaster that may threaten the area, full-time permanent employees will be required to perform emergency duties as directed. $22.84 to $25.12 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs skilled maintenance work as a working supervisor in charge of managing a cluster of small parks and/or one large park. Routine supervision is given to subordinate staff.
