Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through various landscaping and horticultural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening, with some supervisory experience preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beautification and health of residential and commercial landscapes. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Assist with landscaping projects such as planting, mulching, and installing new features Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed Conduct tree care activities including pruning, removal, and health assessments Support construction activities related to landscape installation or renovation projects Manage lawn care tasks such as fertilization, aeration, and weed control Supervise or assist with team members on various landscaping projects to ensure quality standards are met Perform routine maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all operations Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture Knowledge of lawn care techniques and irrigation systems Experience with construction or installation of landscape features is a plus Supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or related environment Strong understanding of tree care practices and plant health management Ability to operate landscaping machinery and hand tools safely and effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who possess a strong work ethic, leadership qualities, and a desire to contribute to beautiful landscapes.
