This position oversees daily operations at an assigned camp site, leads and supports seasonal staff, ensures high-quality programming, and builds positive relationships with participants and families. If you enjoy leading teams, working with youth, and making a meaningful impact in your community, this is a rewarding summer leadership opportunity. Summary of Responsibilities Lead daily operations of a summer camp site to ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality programming Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences Train, supervise, guide, and evaluate camp staff and volunteers Maintain a safe camp environment by enforcing safety policies and emergency procedures Conduct routine inspections and proactively address hazards Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, staff, and supervisors Prepare schedules, reports, payroll information, newsletters, and required documentation Manage program supplies, equipment, and budget responsibilities Maintain accurate records including attendance, incident reports, and participant files Respond to unexpected situations with professionalism, adaptability, and sound judgment Uphold Park District policies related to safety, confidentiality, equal opportunity, and harassment prevention Why Work With Us?
