Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Foreman, where you will lead and oversee outdoor maintenance and landscaping projects with energy and precision. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy supervising teams, and are passionate about creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. As a key leader on-site, you will ensure that all landscape, lawn care, and horticultural tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, pruning, mowing, and irrigation setup to ensure timely project completion. Lead a team of crew members by providing clear instructions, training, and motivation to maintain high productivity levels. Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, tree care, gardening, and general site upkeep to uphold aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor environments. Manage construction-related activities including site preparation, installation of features, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor quality standards, safety compliance, and proper use of equipment. Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand project scope and deliver exceptional results that meet or exceed expectations. Maintain equipment and tools through routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and garden design principles. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments with excellent leadership skills. Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management. Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping or installation work. Expertise in tree care practices including pruning, cabling, planting, and health assessments. Ability to operate irrigation systems effectively and troubleshoot common issues. Strong gardening skills combined with an understanding of horticulture best practices for plant health and sustainability. Excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and liaise with clients or project stakeholders.
