Job Description

The Building Superintendent must have the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and/or repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance and chemical control systems. This position requires a working knowledge and practice of the highest safety standards in all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
(Minimum Required):
  • Team Leader Certification from Y-USA with six months of employment
  • A High School diploma or equivalent required and a Bachelor's Degree and/or trade/vocational training preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical repairs and custodial procedures or equivalent training.
  • Previous supervisory experience necessary.
  • Must maintain a current Certified Pool Operator certification.
  • Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift 75 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Maintain CPR, AED and First Aid certifications
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license and maintenance of safe driving record.
  • Must be able to perform manual labor frequently, including cleaning, landscaping and lifting.
