Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance and construction services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, and the ability to oversee various projects from lawn care to tree and irrigation work. This role offers an opportunity to manage a team, ensure safety standards, and contribute to the beautification of residential and commercial properties. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and gardening Oversee landscaping projects such as planting, construction, and installation of features like patios, walkways, and irrigation systems Manage team members, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed efficiently and to quality standards Perform or oversee lawn care tasks including fertilization, aeration, and pest control Maintain equipment and tools; schedule regular maintenance to ensure operational readiness Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site; train team members on safety procedures Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion of work Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or related construction fields Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening, tree care, irrigation systems, and general landscape maintenance techniques Familiarity with construction practices related to outdoor projects Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license; experience with equipment operation is a plus This position is ideal for someone passionate about outdoor environments who enjoys leading teams and delivering exceptional landscape services.
