Landscaping and Construction Team Leaders Wanted

We are searching for hard-working Landscape and Construction Professionals who have experience working in landscaping and or light construction. We are searching for (3) team leaders to work and manage.• Position are being filled for Oakland, Wayne & Macomb.

We have an opening to start immediately:• Team Leader; (pay is $23 an hour) 4 years general contractor work experience required. •When scheduled Work Orders are complete on time Team Leader can expect an as much as an additional $7 per hour bonus. If Work Orders are not done on time pay is $23 an hour.

Candidate can have combines experienced in the following areas. OUTDOOR work experience- Candidate will have some of the following work experience installing pavers (natural and manufactured), pond kits, cleaning out beds and installing mulch, installing bed boarders, trimming bushes, hedging shrubs, trimming-cutting down mid-sized and small trees with chain saw, stump grinding, power washing, picking weeds, weed whipping, using power pack blower, using an axe, using a wheel barrel, driving a truck and or trailer, etc....INDOOR work experience- Candidate will have some of the following work experience in Tile Work, Interior and Exterior Painting, Cleaning Services, Wallpapering, Rough Carpentry, Home Improvements, Plaster, Drywall, Light moving, etc... This Landscaping and Construction Team Leader role is a hands-on supervisor who is will direct up a 5-person crew to execute construction, landscape and hardscape customer projects . You will be responsible for reading project blueprints, operating heavy machinery, enforcing safety protocols, ensuring quality control, and acting as the primary liaison between our managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution:

Manage the daily construction projects and installation of landscape and hardscapes (pavers, retaining walls), softscapes (trees, plants), grading, drainage, and irrigation, etc… As a

Team Leader:

You will service accounts more than 40% of the time working alone on projects and 60% (typically) you will work with and delegate tasks, mentor and train field technicians, and motivate the crew to complete jobs on schedule and within budget.

Quality & Safety:

Inspect completed work for compliance with company standards and ensure the crew strictly adheres to OSHA safety regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Client Relations:

Communicate project progress directly with clients or project managers and resolve any on-site concerns professionally.

Equipment Management:

Oversee the daily maintenance, safe operation, and inventory of job-site tools, vehicles, and heavy machinery (e.g., skid steers, mini-excavators).

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Typically requires 2-5 years of hands-on experience in landscaping, hardscape installation, or civil construction.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read/interpret construction plans and understand grading and elevation.

Physical Ability:

Must be capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions and frequently lifting 65+ lbs.

Licensing:

A valid driver's license (often with a clean driving record) is required, and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred Team Leader must have a work truck to service accounts. Work truck must be in good working condition.
