Operations Manager - Landscape & Lawn Services The Lawn Specialist | Joplin, MO Lead People. Build a Team. Help Customers Enjoy Their Lawns. The Lawn Specialist is seeking an Operations Manager to help lead our growing lawn and landscape company serving Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. We are not looking for someone to simply mow grass. We are looking for a leader who can help build people, create exceptional customer experiences, maintain high quality standards, and help us continue to grow. Our company is built on hospitality, professionalism, and doing what we say we will do. We want every customer to feel like they have their own personal groundskeeper. About the Position This is a working manager position. You will spend part of your time leading crews and working alongside team members while also helping plan work, maintain quality standards, train employees, communicate with customers, and ensure jobs are completed successfully. Responsibilities Lead and supervise lawn and landscape crews Maintain quality standards on all properties Train and develop team members Assist with scheduling and daily planning Verify daily time records Monitor production and crew efficiency Complete reports and logs Communicate professionally with customers Perform lawn maintenance and landscape installation work as needed Help maintain equipment and vehicles Solve problems and make sound decisions in the field Support a positive and professional company culture Qualifications Previous experience leading employees or crews Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and make decisions Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to operate landscape equipment and trucks Strong organizational skills Reliable, dependable, and trustworthy Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset Preferred Experience Lawn and landscape management Irrigation systems Landscape installation Equipment operation Production or operations management Construction, excavation, utility, or related outdoor service industries What Success Looks Like High-quality work completed consistently Crews that are productive and accountable Customers who are delighted with our service Team members who are growing and improving A positive, professional work environment Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, leadership ability, and proven results.
