Job Description

Elevate Outdoor is a leading landscape construction and maintenance company providing high-end service to residential and commercial customers in Metro-St. Louis as well as commercial sites throughout the US. We are locally owned and operated with a strong culture and work ethic. Immediate opening for an experienced hardscape supervisor with strong knowledge of commercial and residential landscape installation projects and proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects. Qualified candidates will have at least two years experience supervising crews in the production of outdoor living spaces, landscape installations, and pool production.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years supervisory experience Two years landscape construction experience Knowledge of construction process for paver patios, retaining walls, water features, drainage, plant installation, outdoor kitchens, and outdoor landscape structures. Ability to manage, supervise, and train laborers and foremen in the field Proven ability to manage construction projects within budget and time allotted Willingness to communicate and develop working relationships with internal and external customers
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Review plans and designs created by the design department to ensure compliance with zoning regulations and city codes Communicate with clients to discuss project goals and expectations Consult with designer and sales staff to ensure compatibility between construction project and site conditions Ensure that all safety procedures are followed on site during construction or installation projects Coordinate with other team members to schedule project tasks and track progress Maintain records of work performed on each project including expenses and materials used Manage project budget by ordering supplies as needed Coordinate the work of crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget limitations Be familiar with each job's specifications and ensure compliance with quality and budgets are within objectives Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Employee Management:
Ensure high levels of employee satisfaction Weekly meeting with direct reports Quarterly reviews Manage crews and lead by example. Train and communicate to crew to provide growth through training programs and evaluate strengths and weaknesses of employees. Provide leadership and feedback to increase job performance and satisfaction Support and communicate company vision, policies, procedures, safety, and training to all crew members Provide HR with documentation of employee issues, disciplinary actions, or grievances
Administration:
Timeliness and attendance to required meetings Daily approval of crew's timesheets and prompt response/resolution to discrepancies Ensure that all reported employee time is accurate and allocated correctly Adherence to company policies and procedures Meet with Operations Manager on a weekly basis to communicate status of projects and labor needs Respond to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner. Return phone calls, emails, text messages, and WhatsApp messages Report incidents and accidents according to company policy Submit invoices and receipts according to company policy
