The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment operation including skid steer and excavator skills, landscaping, and horticulture, along with proven supervisory skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the landscaping team, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to quality standards. Manage landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, and vegetation management. Supervise and train team members on best practices in landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations for enhancements. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to assess health and appearance, addressing any issues promptly. Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance schedules. Collaborate with construction teams for landscape installation projects, ensuring proper execution of design plans. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable landscaping practices. Qualifications Proven experience in equipment operations, landscape and lawn care with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Prior supervisory experience in a landscaping or related field is preferred. Knowledge of tree care techniques, and vegetation practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with landscaping work including lifting, bending, and operating machinery.
