Supervisor, Landscaping

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor, Landscaping to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who is passionate about landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor maintenance. As a supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, lawn care, tree care, irrigation, and gardening will drive the success of our projects while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate landscaping projects, including planting, lawn care, pruning, mulching, and irrigation system installation and maintenance Lead a team of landscapers and horticulture specialists to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines Oversee landscape construction activities such as soil preparation, planting beds, hardscaping elements, and tree care operations Conduct inspections of ongoing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and client specifications Maintain equipment and tools related to landscaping and horticulture; oversee routine maintenance and safety checks Provide training and mentorship to team members on landscape maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and best practices Skills Extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, lawn care, and tree care techniques Proven supervising experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Experience with landscape construction projects including soil preparation and hardscaping Excellent organizational skills for planning schedules and managing multiple projects simultaneously Ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and vendors; problem-solving aptitude in dynamic outdoor settings Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
