We are looking for a motivated leader who wishes to grow with the company and who makes quality workmanship a priority. The right candidate will exhibit good communication skills and have a trustworthy, dependable attitude. This is a year-round position with opportunities to be cross-trained and utilized in other landscaping areas during the off-season when maintenance tasks are not needed. Responsibilities Oversee daily landscape maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Supervise and lead a team of landscape crewmen, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain various landscapes by performing tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigating. Implement tree care practices to promote healthy growth and aesthetics. Build and maintain landscape features including patios, walkways, and garden beds. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational for daily tasks. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related field. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively. Knowledge of lawn care practices, irrigation systems, and tree care techniques. Ability to build landscape features using appropriate materials and methods. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
