Job Description

Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader Forest Green Lawn and Landscaping Overview The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team to perform horticultural tasks such as weeding, deadheading, pruning, trimming, mulching, seasonal clean-ups, and other tasks involving maintaining and enhancing a client's landscapes and gardens. Key Responsibilities Lead a crew to perform routine landscaping maintenance tasks. Organize tasks, assigning specific duties to crew members based on skill and experience. Ensure work is performed in a timely manner and maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Provide mentorship and training to crew members to enhances their skills and improve team performance. Monitor the health of plants in clients' gardens including diseases or insect damage. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely. Ensure adherence to safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Key Success Traits and Behaviors Loves plants!

works effectively with other team members, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. Key Skills and Qualifications Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or a similar field. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Knowledge of common landscape plants and proper horticultural practices Familiarity with operation of common power tolls such as blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, tillers, and sod cutters. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in landscape maintenance. Some knowledge or irrigation systems and landscape lighting is a plus but not required. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
