Division Manager Position Summary The Division Manager is responsible for leading operational execution across assigned divisions to ensure high-quality service delivery, strong financial performance, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with the company's vision and strategic goals. This role ensures the right people, processes, and systems are in place to deliver consistent results while developing leaders and maintaining a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead, Manage & Accountability Communicate and reinforce the company vision, core values, quarterly priorities, and operational expectations across the division. Lead, coach, and develop managers and supervisors through clear expectations, feedback, and performance management. Foster strong team dynamics, accountability, and cross-department collaboration. Ensure team members understand and operate in alignment with company culture and core values. 2. Operational Execution & Department Management Lead daily operational execution to ensure quality, efficiency, safety, customer satisfaction, and on-time service delivery. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documented, followed, and continuously improved. Oversee production scheduling, route density, crew deployment, and job execution. Coordinate with Fleet, HR, Training, and other shared services to support operational performance. 3. Strategic Planning & Operational Improvement Develop and execute divisional growth strategies aligned with company objectives. Partner with Sales leadership on pricing strategy, target markets, service offerings, and market expansion. Identify and implement operational improvements, process efficiencies, and technology solutions. Evaluate future infrastructure needs including equipment, staffing, and operational resources. 4. Capacity Planning, Scheduling & Resource Management Lead long-range labor forecasting and capacity planning using backlog, historical data, and sales pipeline projections. Develop and maintain a level-loaded master production schedule across service lines. Ensure operational systems accurately reflect contract scope, scheduling, and production expectations. Optimize crew utilization, production planning, and contract performance. 5. Financial Performance, Staffing & Safety Manage divisional P&L including labor productivity, job costing, subcontractor usage, equipment costs, and margins. Monitor key operational and financial KPIs to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Lead staffing strategy including workforce planning, recruiting collaboration, development, and succession planning. Maintain a strong safety culture through compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards while partnering with the Safety team to monitor incidents and drive continuous improvement.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
