Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead our crew in delivering high-quality residential and commercial landscape maintenance services. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with lawn care equipment, plant health knowledge, and the ability to direct a small team effectively. This is a physically active, outdoor role with opportunities for growth in our company.
Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on daily routes Perform and oversee professional mowing, string trimming (weed whacking), edging, and bed cleaning Prune shrubs and small trees using proper techniques to maintain plant health and appearance Apply basic plant care practices, including identifying common issues, watering schedules, and fertilization needs Operate and maintain commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on schedule Communicate effectively with customers and crew members Load/unload equipment and materials from company trucks Follow all safety protocols and company policies Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of professional landscape maintenance experience Proven experience operating commercial mowers and weed whackers/string trimmers Ability to prune shrubs, edge beds, clean mulch beds, and perform general landscape maintenance Basic knowledge of plants, plant health, and common landscape issues Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no recent tickets or accidents) Proficient English communication skills (both verbal and written) Spanish-speaking is a big plus Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in all weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as lead a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Competitive hourly wage with overtime opportunities Paid training and opportunities for advancement Company vehicle and equipment provided
