Tree Crew Foreman / Line Clearance Foreman

Job Description:

Lead and supervise tree trimming crews performing line clearance and vegetation management work near utility lines. Responsibilities include assigning daily work, enforcing safety procedures, training crew members, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely. The Foreman will also perform tree trimming and removal using climbing gear, bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other equipment while maintaining strong customer and public relations. Additional duties include completing reports and timesheets, monitoring crew productivity and equipment usage, coordinating traffic control and work zone safety, and ensuring trucks, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and DOT compliant.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license required; Class B CDL preferred Previous tree trimming, utility, or vegetation management experience required Leadership or crew supervision experience preferred Ability to safely operate chainsaws, bucket trucks, wood chippers, and related equipment Strong communication and team leadership skills Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work at heights up to 50+ feet Ability to work overtime, weekends, and storm/emergency response as needed

Work Environment:

Outdoor position working around utility lines, traffic, heavy equipment, uneven terrain, loud machinery, and changing weather conditions. Safety-focused environment requiring physical labor and attention to detail.
