Teamwork, Professional Development, Community, Responsibility About the role: The Maintenance Foreperson performs technical landscape maintenance work on our clients' properties. This person will provide on-site coordination, quality control, and leadership of their crew on site. Projects can range from annual plantings, small enhancement projects, spring clean-up and mulching, general weeding and pruning, as well as fall leaf clean-ups. As a foreperson you will be required to train your crew in all aspects of Landscape Maintenance and promote growth within the company. You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager(s).
Responsibilities:
  • Carrying heavy objects
  • Clean-up of properties
  • Correct Pruning of shrubs and ornamental trees
  • Planting and Mulching of gardens
  • Training crew members on all aspects of landscape maintenance
  • Snow Removal in winter months Candidate requirements:
  • 5+ years of landscape maintenance experience
  • Ability to be on your feet all day.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Plant care knowledge
  • Communication Skills
  • Driver's License
  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well and train others Job Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in high-end residential landscape maintenance.
Knowledge of plant material and proper pruning techniques. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to communicate well with clients and team members.
