Irrigation Manager

Position Summary T Webb Irrigation, LLC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Irrigation Manager to oversee golf course irrigation operations, system design, installation, maintenance, and project execution throughout Florida. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical irrigation expertise and experience working on golf course properties. The Irrigation Manager will lead irrigation crews, manage large-scale irrigation projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and work directly with golf course superintendents, project managers, and ownership teams to ensure high-quality irrigation performance and water management. Key Responsibilities Manage daily golf course irrigation operations and field crews Design, install, repair, and maintain golf course irrigation systems Oversee irrigation renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects Diagnose and troubleshoot: central control systems, decoder systems, valves, satellites, wiring, pump stations, and hydraulic issues Read and interpret irrigation plans, as-builts, and specifications Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Work directly with golf course superintendents and clients Assist with estimating, project planning, and scheduling Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on budget Train and mentor irrigation technicians and crew members Monitor water usage and irrigation efficiency Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles Preferred Qualifications Irrigation Association certifications (CID, CIC, CLIA) 5+ years of golf course irrigation experience Experience managing irrigation crews and projects Strong knowledge of: Toro irrigation systems, Rain Bird golf systems, central control platforms, pump stations, and decoder systems Ability to read irrigation blueprints and layouts Experience with irrigation design and hydraulics preferred Golf course renovation experience strongly preferred Knowledge of GPS mapping and AutoCAD is a plus Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver's license required Preferred Certifications Toro or Rain Bird irrigation certifications GCSAA education or golf course management background Backflow certification preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can lead crews in the field while also managing complex irrigation projects and communicating professionally with golf course clients.
