Grounds Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Working Grounds Foreman to lead a crew of 6 in maintaining the cleanliness of a high-traffic industrial site. The ideal candidate will lead by example, work alongside the crew, and ensure daily tasks are completed to a high standard. Light paperwork and DOT truck inspections are part of the daily responsibilities. This position also includes winter work including snow removal.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and work alongside a team of 6 grounds maintenance crew members. Ensure daily litter and debris pickup across the industrial site. Conduct and oversee daily DOT truck checks for equipment and vehicles. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, walkways, common areas and equipment. Complete and submit light daily paperwork and crew checklists. Maintain a high standard of safety, productivity, and professionalism. Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred. Ability to lead by example and manage a team effectively. Reliable transportation and punctuality. Comfortable with outdoor physical labor in various weather conditions. Knowledge of DOT vehicle checks (training can be provided). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
