Landscape Crew Supervisor

Phoenix Landscape Management , a commercial industry leader for 30 years, is looking for a Landscape Crew Supervisor with a good attitude, an excellent work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

A Driver's License of at least 3 years is

REQUIRED

Landscape or leadership experience preferred Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping with an eye for detail. Strong supervisory skills with a background in leading teams. Ability to work well with others. Knowledge of lawn care, tree care, and horticulture practices Leadership qualities with a focus on team development and maintenance standards Turf/Fertilization experience, familiarity with irrigation systems, and groundskeeping techniques preferred. Landscape enhancement knowledge is a plus. Ability to delegate work efficiently and stay on schedule. Ability to complete all tasks on property with daily instruction from management. Willingness and ability to train crew members in all aspects of landscape maintenance Takes ownership over equipment and work; work well with others. Ability to clearly communicate crew member performance to management Turf/Fertilization knowledge is a plus, but not required Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Bending, kneeling, heavy lifting, and excessive walking Must be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions Must be able to navigate over rough/uneven terrain Must be able to observe and inspect outdoor spaces Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks Materials and Equipment Duties Maintains the truck and equipment in a safe, clean, working condition. Use tools and equipment according to manufacturers' directions. Monitor tool assignments and loss/damage; hold team member accountable as needed. Normal work hours are Monday thru Thursday from 7 am until 5 pm or later. Friday work is sometimes required. We are a drug-free workplace and E-Verify our employees.
